Glittering Mountain, LLC

The Navajo Nation Shopping Centers, Inc. (NNSCI), a corporation of the Navajo Nation, created a subsidiary called Glittering Mountain, LLC. The Glittering Mountain was created as a development company tasked with developing 70 acres at Twin Arrows, AZ for a master planned community. The development site is located directly adjacent to the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort, which is located east of Flagstaff, AZ.

Development Introduction

Glittering Mountain is an exciting new 70-acre mixed-use development which pays tribute to the rich heritage of the Navajo Nation. This one-of-a-kind environment offering a variety of entertainment, cultural, dining, recreation and living opportunities that match modern world standards while honoring our heritage.

Glittering Mountain Master Planned Community

The project site consists of private fee land totaling 70 acres. A development agreement is currently in place with the Coconino County Board of Supervisors. The planned community will include exciting real estate experiences:

Residential

Glittering Mountain zoning includes specific “villages” that define uses, heights, and density. These neighboring villages include single-family detached homes, town homes, and multi-story apartments.

Glittering Mountain will include several hospitality options for visitors to the various venues, regional travelers to Northern Arizona, and visitors to Twin Arrows.

Commercial/Retail

Glittering Mountain offers many different opportunities for retail stores and commercial uses to support both the daily visitors on Interstate-40/Route 66 and regional visitors to Glittering Mountain.

Glittering Mountain Sports & Equestrian Center

The Glittering Mountain Sports & Equestrian Center will combine two facilities under one roof. The Sports Center will provide an Eight (8) hard-court facility that will accommodate multiple sports for leagues, training, games, tournaments, and even non-sport events. The Equestrian Center will accommodate rodeos, barrel racing, dressage, hunter/jumper events, and non-equestrian events like motocross and BMX.

Art, Cultural, History, Nature, and Gathering Areas

Glittering Mountain is an exciting new 70-acre mixed-use development which pays tribute to the rich heritage of the Navajo Nation. As such, the development intends to encourage design elements, artistic intent, and gathering spaces that will reinforce the history of the Navajo Nation.
